Refund & Cancellation Policy
Transparent covenants governing pre-kickoff cancellations, milestone deposits, prorated developer hourly settlements, and refund turnaround timelines with Mejanix IT Solutions.
Policy Navigation
1 Pre-Kickoff Project Cancellations
If a client decides to cancel an engagement before formal project work has commenced (prior to technical sprint planning, architecture scoping, design wireframing, or server environment provisioning):
The client is eligible for a refund of the advance milestone deposit, minus a 10% administrative onboarding fee. This nominal fee covers banking transaction fees, client onboarding administration, legal paperwork preparation, and reserved developer schedule allocations.
2 Post-Kickoff Cancellations & Milestone Deposits
Because our software engineers and technical leads allocate dedicated, non-recoverable billable hours to your project immediately upon kickoff, advance deposits compensate for committed technical time and infrastructure allocation.
3 Prorated Settlements for Paused or Mutual Separations
In the event that an ongoing project is paused midway or terminated prematurely by mutual written agreement between both parties:
Time & Material Settlement Formula:
- Work performed up to the exact date of written notice will be billed based on actual logged developer and designer hours at our agreed contract hourly rate.
- If the total value of logged hours is less than the advance milestone deposit paid, the remaining advance balance will be returned to the client.
- Any completed, verified modules or assets up to the billed amount will be packaged and delivered to the client upon final account reconciliation.
4 Explicitly Non-Refundable Items & Expenses
Under no circumstances shall refunds be issued for the following deliverables and third-party direct costs incurred on the client's behalf:
5 Refund Processing Timeline & Method of Credit
When a refund or settlement adjustment has been approved in writing by Mejanix IT Solutions:
Anti-Money Laundering & Security Compliance: Under Indian banking regulations and payment aggregator rules, refunds cannot be redirected to third-party accounts or alternative payment modes. Funds will be returned strictly to the originating account.
